Make Money as an Online Juror

30 May 2008 457 views 2 Comments

Ever been called to jury duty? Did you dread it? It was more than likely long days and little pay for the work you did. Not exactly an enjoyable time I’m sure. Well, clear your mind of that experience. Becoming an online juror is whole heck of a lot better!

As an online juror, you get to serve as a mock juror for a mock trial. You take a look at the evidence and get to cast your verdict. It’s really pretty cool. For your work, you can earn anywhere from $5 to $100 per case depending on the content of the trial.

A couple of sites out there that might work out for you are eJury and TrialJuries.com which both provide this service. Update: eJury has been found to not be a reliable site.

I really can’t guarantee that you’ll be selected as a juror, but I’d say you have a pretty good shot. Once you have been chosen, make sure you do a good job and pay attention to what is going on. I’m guessing it’s easy to earn a reputation (good or bad) while you’re on there, so don’t slack off if you actually want to make some decent money!

So are there any online jurors out there? Are you going to give it a shot? If not, how come? Share in the comments below!

I signed up for eJury back in January and have not heard from them since. I’m very suspicious and concerned because they asked for my drivers license number and address. I hope that doesn’t come back to bite me in the butt later on.
